Earl W. Johnston Roofing, LLC together with the Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida announces $262,973 donation to Make-A-Wish Southern Florida along with $15,500 donation to the International Game Fish Association Junior Anglers Program from 44th Annual RCASF Fishing Tournament held June 2023.

The Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida marked their 44th Annual RCASF Fishing Tournament this summer. The event was on June 9-11th at the Islander Resort in Islamorada, Florida with over 500 guests from the roofing community. The RCASF Fishing Tournament supports Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and the International Game Fish Association Junior Anglers Program. The results of Fishing Tournament, not only brings together the South Florida roofing industry, but gives back to the community in a big way as evident in the $1.5 million dollars to their charity partners.

On September 13th, 2023, the RCASF Check Dedication was held at the IGFA in Dania, Florida as a result of the RCASF Fishing Tournament. RCASF Fishing Chairman Corey Daley, Daley Brothers Roofing, presented Norm Wedderburn, CEO & President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Florida with a RCASF Award Check for $262,973 dollars for 52 wishes. Wedderburn said, “RCASF truly believes in our wish granting mission. RCASF has literally changed the lives of thousands of people; children and their families, who are affected by critical illnesses. We are very grateful to RCASF for their continued support.” Since 2010, the RCASF Fishing Tournament has given over $1.4 million dollars to Make-A-Wish, a total of 281 wishes.
