The Golden Pledge Warranty Coverage

The Golden Pledge warranty provides coverage for both manufacturing defects and workmanship. It provides a 100% coverage for workmanship mistakes for up to 25 years, including the misapplication of flashings. For material defects, the warranty provides a 100% coverage period for up to 50 years. This warranty covers the entire GAF roofing system, including the starter strip shingles, ridge cap shingles, shingles, roof deck protection, leak barrier, attic ventilation, and flashing.

The warranty also includes the cost of installation for a lifetime period. In addition, the warranty can provide maximum wind coverage for up to 130 mph, which is equivalent to a Category 3 hurricane. You can also fully transfer this roofing warranty if you sell your home.

Filing Your Warranty Claim

When filing your claim, notify GAF within 30 days after you notice a problem with your roofing system. You also need to provide proof of the date your GAF products were installed and that you were the homeowner at that time. If the warranty was transferred to you, you need to provide supporting documents. While it’s important to notify GAF first, you can also call us and ask questions about what you need to do.
